Administrator of NASA will join SATELLITE 2016 as Keynote Speaker
The Honorable Charles F. Bolden Jr., Administrator, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Rockville, MD. – Friday, January 29, 2016 – NASA Administrator Charles F. Bolden Jr. will deliver a keynote speech at the SATELLITE 2016 Conference and Exhibition on Wednesday, March 9 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Gaylord National Convention Center. Mr. Bolden is the highest-ranking official at NASA and a key figure in the evolution of commercial aerospace industry and research. Under his leadership, NASA has invested heavily into the development of the world’s most cutting edge satellite technology and has recaptured the public’s attention and excitement for space exploration. The agency’s support of commercial space transportation systems for reaching low-Earth orbit have enabled successful commercial cargo resupply of the space station and significant progress toward returning the capability for American companies to launch astronauts from U.S. soil by 2017.
