INTEGRASYS Introduces Alusat: A Virtual Visit to Your Entire VSAT network – SATELLITE booth #118
HERNDON, VA, February 18, 2016 – INTEGRASYS will launch at SATELLITE Show, Booth 118, a state-of-the-art tool that is set to revolutionize the way in which VSAT networks are maintained.
VSAT is used for a huge variety of diverse applications all across the world from cellular backhaul to disaster recovery, and the advent of High Throughput Satellites (HTS) is also fuelling the numbers of deployed sites.
VSATs operate with no requirement for terrestrial infrastructure and are therefore often located in remote, difficult to reach areas. This can cause problems for network operators in terms of maintenance, as Alvaro Sanchez, Sales & Marketing Manager at INTEGRASYS explains: “Once a VSAT is installed, it is often unmanned and left to operate unsupervised for years. Any misalignment during installation or adverse weather can then cause problems, not only for that single VSAT, but for the entire network with negative and costly effects on the operators and the network users.” Read more here.

GetSAT to Introduce Innovative Ka-Band, Flat-Panel Products to US Market – SATELLITE booth #1040
REHOVOT, ISRAEL, February 14, 2016 — GetSAT, an innovator in miniaturized satellite communication terminals for ground, airborne, and maritime applications, will introduce three flat-panel terminals to the US market at Satellite 2016, 8-10 March 2016 in Washington, DC. Using GetSAT’s Ka-band antenna technology, InterFLAT, these new terminals offer significant savings in their size, weight, and power (SWaP) parameters and they provide improved performance, reduced life-cycle costs, and enhanced operational success.
The industry norm for flat-panel systems in this market is to bundle two separate antennas, one transmit (30GHz) and one receive (20 GHz), into a single bulky unit. InterFLAT uses interlace technology to combine the signal transmission and reception onto a single panel. At less than an inch in depth (23mm) InterFLAT offers a very thin, light, and compact antenna that produces 63% efficiency for better performance. InterFLAT antennas are 50% smaller, reduce heating, and lower costs for a more effective alternative to a traditional unit. Read more here.
Paradise Unveils the Q-NET™ Satellite Network Solution: The New “Single Box” that Maximizes Spectral Efficiency, Cuts Costs for ANY Network – SATELLITE booth #1411
STATE COLLEGE, PA, February 12, 2016 – Teledyne Paradise Datacom, a business unit of Teledyne Microwave Solutions, announced today that they will be conducting live demonstrations of their new Q-NET™ Satellite Network Solution at the Satellite 2016 show .
