SATELLITE 2016 and Space Generation Advisory Council Partner for Mentoring Event Rockville, MD. – Friday, February 12, 2016 – The Access Intelligence Satellite Group, producers of the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition, renews its partnership with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC). Together, SATELLITE 2016 and SGAC highlight the need to engage with the next generation of space professionals with a number of key events held during the course of SATELLITE 2016. In partnership with the Future Space Leaders Foundation (FSLF) and SATELLITE 2016, SGAC will host its first technology focused event, SGx on Monday, March 8 from 9:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m. SGx will bring together young professionals, experts in the industry and government leaders to discuss pressing issues and innovative ideas in a brand new way. The aim of SGx is to engage and intrigue the audience with fast-paced lightening talks that focus on story-telling rather than business pitches in order to communicate about technology in the satellite industry. For the 3rd year, SGAC will also host the mentorship program for their members on Wednesday, March 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with top leaders in satellite, learn from industry veterans and inquire about the future of the global marketplace. Following the mentoring program, all SGAC members are invited to SATELLITE 2016’s Awards Celebration and Reception at 6:00 p.m. Registrations are open to students and YPs between the ages of 18-35.
